Biola Conference 2

We all had a great time today at the mission's conference attending different seminars, studies, and working the RSM Intern booth. It is my hope that God will bless those who took interest and call many more to His work at Rancho as well as around the world. May we live lives consumed by God - jay

A New Art Project

Been taking apart the old and broken sewing machines to create an artistic mosaic. It's fun tinkering with the machines and seeing how they work, expect pics of the results in the future. - Keith

Biola Conference

Today we start workin our booth here at the mission's conference, and as you can see we have a pretty good attention getter, hoping to get alot of people interested in ministry at RSM. - jay

Construction sites are inspiring because we know they are evidence of expansion and forward movement.  We welcomed SDCC President, Paul Ague, Academic VP, Jon DePriest, and Director of Spiritual Life, Steve Jenkins to RSM and were able to share the vision of our ministry - to send out workers to the great harvest of deaf people who have yet to understand the love, mercy and salvation that comes through Jesus Christ.  Our Ministry Training Center will be the location for training people from Mexico and the US, deaf and hearing, to serve the Lord by ministering to the deaf.  Thank you to "The Dos," Keith and Jason, for stepping out in faith and being our first class of Interns!  For more information on this program, see Internship Program.

Pizza Night

Three mission organizations in Valle de Guadalupe (RSM, Ventana and Ninos de Baja) organized an "Intern Night" in Porvenir.  We all came together for encouragement and a sharing of ideas.  We had homemade pizza followed by a worship night led by our very own Jason Holloway!

Paint and Mud

This week we've had a great group of guys and gals from SDCC working on the intern apartment and exercise building. Got a fresh coat of "Mexico Blue" paint as me and Keith like to say and alot of mud work done. A big thanks to everyone who helped and a great thanks to God for being our provider. - jay

Queso

This past Sunday Keith and I had the opportunity to cook lunch for the Ranch.  Janet helped us out with the measurements and soup while Keith and I made quesadillas. Great lunch and I was glad to serve doing something I love. - jay

"To infinity and beyond!"

Our fearless leader, Luke, took the interns on the new Rancho Sordo Mudo zipline.
Here is Luke showing how it's done,

Leading Worship

March is the beginning of a new focus for the internship program  -  "Church Based Deaf Ministry."  We have a full-fledged deaf church service at RSM and Jason and Keith joined Johnny and Amber Thompson in leading worship.  Wow.  It's amazing how much sign language they have learned in just one month!
